Can this fireplace be recessed into a wall?

Yes. It supports three fitting methods: freestanding, wall-mounted or recessed. The recessed option needs a cavity built into a stud wall or media wall unit, so measure the 183cm width and 43cm height before you cut any openings.

How much heat does it actually put out?

The heater has two settings: 900W and 1800W. On the higher setting it covers up to 400 sq ft, which is roughly the size of a large living room. The thermostat lets you set a target temperature between 62°F and 82°F so it is not running at full power constantly.

Is it loud when running?

No. It runs at around 45 dB, which is quieter than typical background conversation. You will hear the fan but it should not interfere with watching television or having a conversation nearby.

Can I change the flame colour?

Yes. There are 12 flame colours available with 5 brightness levels. There is also an automatic colour-shifting mode if you want the display to cycle through colours on its own rather than picking one manually.

What comes included in the box?

You get the fireplace unit itself, a remote control, touch screen controls built into the unit, swappable crystal beds and a log set. This lets you switch between a crystal display and a more traditional log look.

How is it controlled?

Two ways: a physical remote control or the touch screen panel built into the fireplace. Both let you adjust heat settings, flame colour and brightness.

Does it produce any smoke or fumes?

No. As an electric fireplace it produces no emissions, smoke or fumes. It also helps maintain natural air humidity in the room rather than drying it out the way some heaters do.

What are the dimensions and weight?

The unit measures 183cm wide, 10.5cm deep and 43cm high. It weighs 23kg, so you will likely want help lifting it during installation, particularly for wall-mounted setups.
